The theme for this year’s International Women’s Day was: “Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow.” The International Women’s Day – celebrated annually on March 8 – is a day that commemorates the social, political and economic achievements of women. Officers at MCDSS took part in the celebrations. The President of the Republic of Zambia, Mr. Hakainde Hichilema visited the stand where MCDSS was show casing some of the its programmes and interventions.
