The Ministry of Community Development and Social Services is hosting a media engagement workshop for Copperbelt and North-Western Provinces based Journalists in Kitwe to enhance their reporting on Social Protection issues.

The workshop is also aimed at improving the visibility of programmes being implemented by the ministry such as Child Protection, Women Empowerment Programmes, Food Security Pack, Social Cash Transfer and disability programmes among others.

Participants were drawn from both the public and private media from the two Provinces.
