In a significant move towards enhancing the digitalization of social protection programmes, the Ministry of Community Development and Social Services has successfully conducted comprehensive digital literacy training aimed at enhancing the digital skills of its staff.
This initiative underscores the Ministry’s commitment to embracing technology in a responsible and accountable manner for efficient and effective delivery of social services.
The training focused on equipping staff members from selected Districts representing all departments in the Ministry with essential digital skills necessary for the modern workplace.
Topics ranged from the best practices, emerging trends in the digital space, cybersecurity of digital and how to utilise collaboration and data processing tools and systems relevant to the Ministry’s operations.
The training is being conducted in collaboration with the Electronic Government Division (Smart Zambia Institute) and NIPA
