The Ministry of Community Development and Social Services participated in activities to mark the 2024 Africa Public Service Day.

The Ministry has since been recognised among the top 2 most high performing public institutions in the country.

The 2024 Africa Public Service Day has taken place from 20th to 23rd June to recognise the role that public service plays in driving the country’s development agenda as well as that of the African continent.

The theme this year is “Empowering a Citizen–Centric Public Service for an Inclusive and Thriving 21st Century Africa: A Journey of Lifelong Learning and Technological Transformation.”

The national commemoration of the 2024 Africa Public Service Day was held in Lusaka with Vice President, Mutale Nalumango calling on the public service workers to help take development to all parts of the country.
