Members of staff from the Ministry of Community Development and Social Services, led by the Permanent Secretary Ms. Angela Kawandami, proudly donned Zambian national colors in anticipation of the country’s 60th independence anniversary.

Among the group were directors from various departments, all of whom took part in a symbolic photo session at the Ministry Headquarters.

This gesture reflects their appreciation for the nation’s achievements in fostering peace, unity, and tranquility over the years.

The MCDSS staff are eager to join the rest of the country in commemorating Zambia’s 60 years of independence, dubbed Zambia @60.

The celebration will feature a variety of activities aimed at showcasing the nation’s rich cultural heritage and continued development.

These activities are part of efforts to honor the strides Zambia has made since gaining independence in 1964.
