As Zambia approaches its 60th Independence Day celebrations, the Ministry of Community Development and Social Services is counting down to the day with renewed commitment to providing social protection services without leaving anyone behind.
Staff members who last week while dressed in the vibrant national colors of green, red, black and orange participated in a photo session, are eagerly looking forward to the celebrations on Thursday, October 24th.
Zambia’s 60 years of independence, resonates with the Ministry, which remains committed to its mandate of providing essential social protection services to the poor and vulnerable across the country.
The Independence Day celebrations remind the Ministry of its ongoing mandate to deliver “socio-economic independence” to those in need.
