Department Of Human Resources and Administration

The department of Human Resources and Administration consists of six (06) units namely Human Resources Management, Human Resources Development, Administration, Accounts, Audit and Procurement. The main functions of the department are:-
• Recruitment , Appointment, Placement, Promotion, orientation and separation of staff
• Interpretation and implementation of the Terms and Conditions of Service
• Co-ordination of Performance Management and Appraisal systems
• Identification and Co-ordination of training programmes for all members of staff in the Ministry
• Interpretation and monitoring of the implementation of the Civil Service Training policy
• Transport Management
• Maintenance of buildings and premises
• Security and Public Relations
• Procurement of goods and services for the Ministry
• Financial Management
• Auditing of the programmes, processes and procedures in the Ministry
